Efficiency Modules enhance the core capabilities of the ConsoleWorks Server and ConsoleWorks Virtual Server. They are optional add-on modules.

Privileged Access Platform

The Privileged Access Platform brings privilege user activity under management control with complete transparency over all activity performed by privileged users. Individual user sessions are created under a unified security model with automatic documentation (down-to-the-keystroke) of all activity. The Platform provides documents, scans, and can detect threats in real-time, enforcing security and compliance policies. Automatic recording of privileged user activity produces the records needed to prove the compliance practice. The Platform supports unlimited user sessions per interface, and unlimited private sessions per user.

Multi-Connect Module

Foundation Multi-Connect provides the ability to connect and manage up to 40 virtual or physical devices and update them simultaneously while only typing on a single ‘master console’. This provides an efficient method of making the same changes or additions to multiple devices simultaneously, thereby reducing time and resources spent, maintaining same configurations across like function devices, and reducing human error.

High Availability Module

The High Availability Module continuously interacts with the IT environment to determine the status of all components at any point in time. Component status can change at any point in time but not be noticed by the environment as a whole. Such component status changes are often critical indicators of potential future problems as well as a good summary of real versus anticipated capacity. The Availability Module provides this critical information for any point in time desired.

Failover

When multiple servers and other devices are deployed, Failover Server insures continuous connections regardless of connection path failures. In the event a particular connection fails, Failover Server automatically searches for the best alternate connection and continues communication. Failover Server supports an active configuration where each failover host works in conjunction with the other, allowing managed traffic to be processed on each failover host, logged on each host and scanned on each host independent of each other. In the event of a host failure, the remaining host continues with up-to-date log files, events and other related information.

Enterprise Viewer Module

The Enterprise Viewer Module provides a global view of all IT environment components, wherever they are. The Enterprise Viewer is tightly linked to all invocations of the ConsoleWorks servers, so that, from a central place, a user can drill down to the lowest detail to determine status, root cause of issues, and provide remote remediation. Progressively higher views are available which help note patterns of issues on a geographic basis.
